Discover - Fresh and Dried Outdoor Holiday Wreaths

Round Copper and Green Magnolia WreathSeveral years ago at a product trade show I discovered a company that made holiday wreaths made of fresh foliage that had bright green glossy leaves. I had never seen a wreath made with this type of foliage but I knew that I wanted to have one.

I soon learned the foliage was fresh magnolia leaves and the company was The Magnolia Company. Having always lived in the Midwest the choices of holiday wreaths were usually limited to evergreen or corn husks so the fresh shiny magnolia leaves were very refreshing.

Over 70 years ago the original founders of The Magnolia Company grew and sold fresh fern foliage to florists across the US. In the 1990’s they began receiving requests for fresh magnolia leaves and soon afterwards they began planting acres of magnolia trees.

Now they ship thousands of fresh and dried wreaths as well as their latest creation of lacquer painted magnolia wreaths which were selected for use last year at the White House.
